Happy (belated) New Year!

Its' 2007! Well I suppose I am a week late in making that proclaimation, and after loads of complaints that this blog has been inactive for such a lot time, I guess this entry is overdue. As Jie Ren would say, "Its been a month since I last blogged..."

Much had happened in the month of December, most notably, Hui Min returned! I was sure glad to be with her during the festivities and of course, my birthday.

Then there was the RSAF-TNI AU Bilateral Golf game which was organised in Bintan. (Thats the first, and definitely not going to be the last time I set foot there.) CO is pretty adamant that I learn how to golf, and I will probably start picking it up after I passed my driving test, which would be in February. And I better do... the lack of convenience is driving me nuts, especially with the multiple meetings in different venues of which I am required to attend.

And then comes Christmas (^^) and I was off to Taipei for a few days of retreat. Its a place for good food and cheap shopping! (but thats' about all in fact... nothing much to see around, so if you were planning to go, you had better get good company)

Even after returning from Taipei, we still had a couple of days to rest from 2006 before returning to work. Of course, with the yearly countdown to the new year, I celebrated my 25th Birthday. (Cat Y finally, now my $200 IPPT cash price comes with lesser effort.. not that I needed it.)

2007 started with a big bang for my camp. Air Defence and Operations Command (ADOC) was officially inaugurated by Defence Minister Teo Chee Hean on the 5th Jan. (You SAF and DSTA poeple reading this better start paying attention now.) We are the first command to be set up in RSAF's mjor transformation efforts. (PS: these information are found on MINDEF website. 1.) I am not leaking out any classified information and 2.) I can't be bothered with typing everything I know about ADOC out so please go read yourself. The link is here:
